Support York Literacy Institute During Give Local York

Mark your calendars for May 2 & 3, 2024 as Give Local York returns! Give Local York is a 24-hour online giving event for sponsors and thousands of individual donors across our community to come together and support local non-profit organizations.

The York Literacy Institute is participating in Give Local York and there are several ways you can help support us this year:

  • Make a donation to the York Literacy Institute by CLICKING HERE. You can even donate before May 2 and we can include your gift in our total, which will make us eligible for additional matching funds and awards.
  • Share! – Help us grow our network by sharing this information with your contacts and asking your friends to do the same.
  • Be socially (media) active – Follow us on Facebook to see the latest updates for Give Local York. Use your social media networks by posting on Facebook, tweeting about #YLI, hitting us up on Instagram, and sharing your love for the York Literacy Institute! Ask others to do the same.
  • Become a fundraising champion – Fundraising champions promote the York Literacy Institute to their network of friends and family by creating a page for others to help support your goal to fundraise for Give Local York. Visit our page and select the “Fundraise” button to sign up prior to May 2!

Many of our programs are offered to students at no cost. We’re able to provide English as a Second Language, Adult Reading, High School equivalency testing, and civics and citizenship classes because of the support from our community. And Give Local York is the largest single day of giving in our community! With your help, we can make history in 2024!
