Leadership Giving Society
The Literacy Circle provides philanthropic leadership and support for York Literacy Institute by contributing larger gifts annually. To be eligible, members give at least $1,000 annually. Benefits include recognition in our annual report and invitations to participate in special programming throughout the year.

Matching Gift
Did you know that your company’s matching gift program can double, and in some cases triple or quadruple, the value of your gifts to York Literacy Institute? Thousands of corporations in the United States and Canada may also match gifts from employee spouses and retirees.
Along with your contributions, matching gifts enable YLI to continue to provide services to adult learners and help expand our offerings. Please help make a difference for our students by:
- Contacting your company’s Human Resources Department for instructions.
- Completing and signing a matching gift form from your company.
- Sending the form, along with your annual gift, to York Literacy Institute, 1416 6th Ave., York, PA 17403. We’ll do the rest.
Matching gifts count toward membership in the Literacy Circle. When you submit your matching gift paperwork with your gift, we’ll include your gift and your company’s intended match in your cumulative giving total for the year.

Leave a Legacy York County is a volunteer-run program designed to inspire people just like you to make a chartable bequest. Leave a Legacy York County strengthens the York County community through charitable giving by:
- Assisting York County nonprofit organizations in promoting bequests and planned gifts
- Encouraging York County professional advisers to include charitable giving in the estate planning process
- Promoting planned giving directly to the public
