YLI welcomes new Digital Literacy Instructor

Claudia Calderon joins York Literacy Institute (YLI) as our new Digital Literacy Instructor.

In today’s fast-changing world, empowerment begins with knowledge. Reading opens minds to new ideas, while gaining tech skills unlocks doors to opportunity. Together, they build confidence, adaptability, and the power to shape our own future. Claudia finds joy in the little things—like watching her husband become an amazing dad and seeing their 3-year-old son’s personality bloom. When she is not soaking up family time, you can find Claudia collecting uranium glass (yes, it glows!) or rolling dice with friends during epic tabletop game nights. Claudia is excited to be here and can’t wait to get to know everyone!

Welcome, Claudia!
