We’re excited to participate in York’s 24-hour day of giving – GIVE LOCAL YORK – on MAY 1 & 2 from 9 pm -9 pm.
York Literacy Institute is proud to be one of the over 300 participating non-profit organizations working to make York County a great place to live. If you share our passion for improving literacy in our community, please support us during Give Local York.
Your support during Give Local York will help us continue to offer services to York County Adults in need of literacy education. We provide free classes and tutoring for adults to learn English as A Second Language, Civics, Digital Literacy, Adult Reading, and preparation for High School equivalency testing.
There are many opportunities for you to take action and help support us this year:
- TELL A FRIEND (or 2!) about our organization and why you support us. Word of mouth is a valuable way to expand our network.
- CONNECT WITH US on Social Media and Post, Like, and Share – we’re active on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- HELP US FUNDRAISE on your own GLY page linked to our organization. To sign up, visit our GLY page and select the “Fundraise” button to get set up.
VISIT OUR GLY PAGE & DONATE during the 24 hours of online giving THURSDAY MAY 1st & FRIDAY MAY 2nd from 9pm -9pm
